  • End Date:June 19, 2014

On the auspicious occasion of the Republic Day of Nepal, Jestha 15, an event was organised at the Deep Campus, MCOMS, to commemorate the day and pay homage to the martyrs. The event was organised by the Nepalese students of the August 2013 batch, and was attended by the heads of departments, faculty, non-teaching staff and students from Nepal and other countries. The event started with playing of the national anthem of Nepal and flag hoisting. The participants contributed to the program with their speeches and poems. The portraits of the martyrs were garlanded and homage paid to them. One of the focal points of the program was the “Bhadgaunle Topi” a traditional headgear worn by men, to remind all of the importance of the day, now magnified as the country enters a new era.
