In order to derive the maximum benefit from integrated teaching the student is expected to have 100% attendance in all the subjects. However the student should have not less than 75% of attendance, separately in theory and practical in order to be eligible to appear for the university examinations.
External Examiners: Kathmandu University appoints external examiners from a panel of academicians from top institutions of Nepal & India. To name a few institutes - Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu; BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal; Kathmandu University Medical School, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi; Kasturba Medical College, Manipal & Mangalore; Calcutta Medical College etc. Professors and Associate professors, who meet the criteria laid down by Kathmandu University, are empanelled.
