ROLE OF DEPARTMENT IN MTH

a.Imparts theoretical and practical teaching at MBBS and MD levels. Department is delivering maximum number of lectures and conducting examinations for undergraduate courses round the year.

2.Preview of metabolic syndrome in first degree relatives of Diabetes Mellitus.
3.Clinical profile and validation of Sriraj scoring system in Stroke patients.
4.Simplified management of pneumothorax.

ACHIEVEMENT

a.Morning presentation every day where all the cases admitted and mortalities are discussed and analyzed in detail by all faculty members and junior doctors. All the interns have to present cases.
b.Future guide lines /protocols constantly being updated and any lacunae found are being rectified regularly.
c.Department is maintaining a judicious balance between clinical work and teaching and playing a pivotal role for the MTH.
d.Whole department works as one unit and imparts the value of discipline and cooperation to the interns. This is reflected by the steady increase in the number of OPD and indoor patients.
