The Mission of the Library is to acquire, manage, provide and disseminate all health sciences information to students, faculty, and research scholars of the college. The Library of Manipal College of Medical Science is functioning from a spilt campus, it has been necessary to duplicate the library facilities. The main library is setup at Deep with an extension at MTH, Phulbari to look after the basic and clinical science students respectively.

The College conducts MBBS Degree courses, MD and M.Sc. Degree courses in basic sciences, 3-year proficiency certificate level course in nursing, 3-year Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) and Bachelor of Medical Imaging Technology (BMIT) courses.

Both the libraries are open from 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 midnight on all weekdays including Saturdays and holidays except Dashain and Tihar (Deepawali) vacations.

Reading Hall Capacity:

Main library at Deep Campus can accommodate 200 students, faculty and users at a time where as the MTH library can accommodate 150 users at time.

Study area, Group study area, and computer lab. have been provided in the library.
