MCOMS is recognised by Srilankan medical council, Bangladesh medical council & Mauritius medical council. Students passing out of MCOMS on completion of USMLE exams are also allowed to practice in the state of California. Besides MCOMS is also recognised by the British Columbia Student Assistance Program (BCSAP), Canada.

All Indian medical graduates will have to clear the screening test in order to practice upon their return to India.

Campus:

MCOMS functions from two campuses. The Deep campus is spread on a 8 acres of wooded land, housing the basic sciences departments, hostels and other facilities for Basic Sciences students. The second Phulbari Campus is a 30 acre campus, and has a 865 bed multi-specialty teaching hospital.
