Library facilities: Total area - Basic Sciences - 4327 Sq ft; Clinical sciences - 3890 Sq ft. Seating Capacity: Basic Sciences - 200; Clinical sciences - 150.

The libraries are stocked with all the recommended medical textbooks, latest reference books, research journals, WHO publications and bound volumes. ‘Medline’ is available online as well as on CDs along with the ‘Adam Series’ and other medical literature. Internet access is available with the following data bases: HINARI; INASP/ PERI program for journal articles access; COCHRANE library database; Blackwell Synergy database; Oxford University Press database.

Photocopying facilities are also available on both campuses. The libraries are open from 9 am to 12 pm all days of the week. All recommended textbooks are available on sale in the bookshop located inside the college campus.

Auditoriums: One auditorium, on the 4th floor of the Manipal Teaching Hospital, has a capacity to seat 350. The second auditorium, in the basement of the Phulbari girl’s hostel, has the capacity to seat 500. They are being used for University Examinations, medical updates, symposia etc. as well as cultural shows.
