RGUHS men and women emerged champions as they went on to repeat last year’s performance in Bangalore, where the inaugural championships were held. Host Manipal University were a much improved lot as they finished runners in both sections.

In fact, Anitha of Manipal University was even declared the individual women’s champion. The men’s champion was Vishwajit Jagadish Mane of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The men’s and women’s team championship was won by RGUHS, Bangalore and the runners in both sections were Manipal University, Manipal.

Day two belonged to the Manipal University athletes

Mrs Vasanthi Pai, wife of the Chancellor Manipal University, Dr Ramdas M Pai, gave away the prizes. Pro Chancellor, Dr H..Ballal in his presidential address said Manipal University was ready to host the third edition of the championships next year also.
